Aighhhhht get yall drinks 'cause you know I like mine on ice. If you don't drink, then you know we puttin' one in the air. Let's get itttt.

Who are you? Tell us where you from.

Whole Key from Helena, Arkansas

How did you get into the music scene?

I’ve always had an ear for good music, I would make music just for my friends around me to listen to & over the time I started hearing my growth.

Would you make this a career?

Yes, I would make this my career because It’s something I’ve always had a passion for. My music motivates the people around me, that’s what keeps me going.

What made you take it seriously?

I had sent my manager a few songs I had recorded after a session one night. A few hours later Bank(Bankroll Freddie) Video called me on Instagram, telling me I was hard and to keep going, and ever since then we locked in, and I haven’t looked back since.

If it’s one thing you could change in this, what would it be?

There’s nothing I would change. I haven’t experienced enough to say I’d change anything.

How is the music scene in your city? Anything different compared to other places you’ve been or seen?

The music scene in my city is growing. There’s a lot of talent. Staying consistent is the key, and I feel like that’s where a lot of artist lack at in my city as far as upcoming artist.

Who is your top artist right now?

My favorite artist is Lil Baby. I can relate to a lot that he talks about in his music, and how he motivates his people around him in real life outside of music.

Has music changed your life? If so, how?

I wouldn’t say music changed my life, but I would say it plays a major role in my life. There were times I wanted to give up, but I had to realize if Rapping was easy everyone would be doing it and actually make something out of it. I know to be one of the best you have to put in time and effort.

What do you do outside of the music scene?

Outside of music I enjoy being at peace. Being an independent artist comes with a lot so I’m into anything as far as getting away from the city to clear my head or I’m at the studio perfecting my craft.

What would you tell your younger self?

There isn’t much I would’ve told the younger me because my decisions made me who I am today but for sure to slow down. I was living fast and taking risk that could’ve went different, I’m blessed to be here today to do what I love.

Something people don’t know about you.

There’s a lot of people don’t know about me because I spend a lot of time alone to myself. A lot of people don’t know how good of a heart I have when it comes to my loved ones and my team around me. We do everything together.

You dropping anything soon?

I just dropped a new single last week April 20th “Pound 4 Pound” the Visual for it drops May 8th, 2023. I also plan on dropping my first mixtape “Higher Than Ever” This June with 13 Songs with 1 Feature with Big Slixc. Slixc is my real cousin and he from the city. I could have added more features but he family I kinda wanna keep it that way.

Wow I never knew you were Slixc cousin all this time, That's really my patna! Thats what's up tho. Well I'm glad to have been able to share your story on my platform. I appreciate you! And I'm goin keep you on my radar fasho. Keep grinding and doing ya thing forreal.
