I'm Weezie from East Baltimore.

Thanks for coming to kick sh*t with me Weezie. How did you get into the music scene?

I hopped in it off the humble forreal, always could spit alor bit growing up never took it serious forreal.

Would you make this a career?

Yeah 

What made you take it serious?

People around told me keep going once my first song I made “FUCK IS YOU DUMB” went viral on TikTok && had the whole world going crazy I had too keep going than!

I gotta tell you that's what pulled me in made me a fan of you forreal. My kids love that song. My Baltimore family get busy forreal when that beat drop. It's not just Baltimore at this point it's the world. It's a song that will never get old. If it’s one thing you could change in this industry, what would it be? 

Whoever control the labels & contracts. 

How is the music scene in your city? Anything different compared to other places you’ve been or seen? 

We got our own style, flow & accent. We bring a different story. 

I have to agree. I came out here to Baltimore because of the music scene forreal. People down talk on the city all the time but don't understand Baltimore really its own. Yall got yall own flow like you said, and accent. You gotta be around to know what certain words mean. Like dummy, it took me a lil minute to understand that's just a word yall use kind of like DC use moe. If it’s, one thing you could do What would you do for the music scene in your city to help?

Bring more ppl out for the eastside.
