Heyyyy yall Ace back with another oneeeee! Today we have Georgia's own Alex Sosá with us. I can't wait to hear his story. He is one of my top faves right now so let's get to it. I got the drinks and the iceeeee, yall grab ya smokesss.

So, tell us, for the ones who may not know. Who are you? Where you from?

I’m Alex Sosá, I’m originally from Columbus Ga, but I moved to Augusta, Ga around 14 and ended up being there for around 10 years.

How did you get into the music scene?

Honestly just being a fan of music .. I recorded my first song at 12, but even as a younger child I was always able to use my words in ways to paint a picture so to say, it was almost destined.

Wow that's amazing, would you make this a career?

Most definitely, even from the start of taking music serious, I always knew this was going to be something I wanted to do long term..

What made you take it serious?

Knowing that I could .. and like I said before, I just feel like it was destined. When certain events in your life align, and you end up on a path, it’s more so as if it was meant for me to do this, to be able to use my words, reach the masses, and just motivate people like me.

If it’s one thing you could change in this industry, what would it be?

I probably wouldn’t change anything, just because when you change one thing, you may unwillingly change something else. It’s all about making the best of a situation and overcoming whatever obstacles you may face, that’s what makes you successful to me.

You know that's crazy you say that because I too live by that. It's all about making the best of a situation. If you can overcome those obstacles, you are successful to me. Roll with the punches. How is the music scene in your city? Anything different compared to other places you’ve been or seen?

In comparison of Augusta and Columbus, the music scene in Augusta has more variety, and a more melodic sound. Columbus has a more raw, street, and distinct sound. I know a few from each side who have paved a way for others though, so big shoutout to them.

Who is your top artist right now?

Kevin Gates if we talking mainstream, my top underrated would-be Paris Tre out of Augusta, and RG Shyne out of Miami.

Has music changed your life? If so, how?

It definitely has .. just 4 years ago, I was working in a plant, fast forward I’m known somewhere in almost every state in the US, and even other countries.. supporters tattooing my name and face on them, and just being recognized for my talents everywhere I go. However, I try to not let that be fuel for my journey, I just keep working, knowing it’s greater moments to come.

Woahhh you got fans getting your face tatted on them??? OMG thats wild. I can't lie I thought about getting my fav tatted on me, I'm not saying no names tho lol What do you do outside of the music scene?

I’m a father, so I spend time with my daughter the time permits, I own a French Bulldog Kennel, and a clothing brand as well, I haven’t been focused on the clothes in a while, but my new drop is going to be major. Outside of that I love to read, and pretty much do anything that I feel like will elevate me as a person.

What would you tell your younger self?

“I’m proud of you, I love you. Don’t be so hard on yourself. All you can be is all you can be, just give it your best .. stay focused. 90% of what you see in the world is a distraction, just stay locked in.”

What's something people don’t know about you.

I love to read, I’m a huge overthinker, and I’m super hard on myself, not for a bad reason, just because I know what I’m capable of and I don’t ever want to get comfortable doing the bare minimum. I'm big on self-accountability.

Are you dropping anything soon?

I have a single “Menace Flow” about to drop, but I’m also about to release what I think will be my biggest project to date, “Now or Never”, executive produced by Menace (@MenaceGotBeats), so I’ve been putting a lot of focus and energy into that one.

Well, there you have it, Mr. Alex Sosá himself. I want to personally thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. I appreciate you as always. I'm excited for the new releases and your clothing brand. Make sure you keep me updated. Everyone check out his Instagram below and show some love.
