Heyyyyy yallll Ace back with another one! This time I have a special guest, my first one from this part of Virginia. I'm excited yall, yall know how I am with my VA artists cause there are plenty of areas in Virginia that get overlooked so here we go! I got the drinks, yall grab the smokeees. Who are you? Tell us where you are from.
My name is *Maximillian, I'm an artist, writer, and producer from Ettrick, Virginia.

How did you get into the music scene?
I've always been into music. My dad really loved music, so I developed a love for it as well. All my homies pretty much make beats so i use to just be around rapping on their beats until one day I made a song, people liked it so i decided to keep going.

Would you make this a career?
For sure! I can see a career in this. I feel like I'm very talented and have a very good ear for music. I'm made for this shit.

What made you take it seriously?
Really just seeing people's reactions to my music and me being able to make music that I would actually listen to made me wanna take it seriously. I just love everything about music.

If it's one thing you could change in this what would it be?
Shit, if it's one thing I would change it would be how nobody really wants to pay attention to you until they see other people paying attention.

How is the music scene in your city? Anything different compared to other places you've been or seen?
So, I'm from a small village called Ettrick so there are not many artist but all the artist where I'm from are really talented. Other places just have a little more support than we do but Virginia has the potential to be a music landmark. There are so many legends in the industry from VA.

Who is your top artist right now?
To be honest I really don't listen to a lot of music since i make my own, but Future is one of my inspirations. As well as Swae Lee. I also enjoy Veeze, Key!, TheKidzAtPlay and Tommy Richman.

Has music changed your life? If so, how?
Hell yea music has changed my life. Music gave me a place to vent, a place to escape to. Being able to express how I feel and say things I know other people are feeling and want to say but can't is something I love.

What do you do outside of the music scene?
Outside of music I'm a father. If l'm not doing music I'm spending time with my daughter or watching anime. I love anime and video games. Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game of all time.

What would you tell your younger self?
I would tell my younger self to be consistent, take risks, and never be afraid to fail. Always follow your heart and do whatever it is today, don't wait until tomorrow.

Something people don't know about you.
Something people don't know about me is that I record and engineer my own music.

Are you dropping anything soon?
For sure! I have a project dropping June 22nd called "Summertime In Ettrick 2". Everyone has been waiting on it since the first one so I'm very excited for everyone to get to listen and see my growth over the years.
