Who are you? Tell us where you from.

I'm Jay Gudda. I'm from Mississippi.

How did you get into the music scene?

I started out rapping with my cousins in the closet playing around but I liked it so I pursued it.

Would you make this a career? 

Yea I definitely would. It fits my lifestyle and my character.

What made you take it seriously?

I took it seriously because people kept telling me i had good music and great sound I always had good feedback never anything negative. 

If it’s one thing you could change in this, what would it be?

Probably would change mixing business with friendships too many ppl fallout over petty issues in music and probably to stop rapping a real street lifestyle because that’s how most ppl getting f*cked up now a days. Just keep it music.

How is the music scene in your state/city? Anything different compared to other places you’ve been or seen?

The music scene in my city is actually lit. Can’t compare it to other places because of the lack of support. They gone d*ckride who’s hot at the moment from then on and it’s like f*ck every other artist. 

Who is your top artists right now?

To me my go to artist right now is Lil Baby. I can relate to em in so many ways 

Has music changed your life? If so, how?

Yea music definitely changed my life. Because it taught me how to move. I learned how to invest from it, it made me confident, my whole style and wardrobe came from me being a artist that I would want to look up to and follow. 

What do you do outside of the music scene? 

 I'm invested in to trucks. 18 wheelers to be exact and I'm a stylist 

What would you tell your younger self? 

To take that money and save it up just to invest it. I f*cked up alot of money tryna keep up and lost plenty plenty bags. Also I would’ve taken rap 1000% more serious especially with the opportunities I had.

Something people don’t know about you.

People probably don’t know I don’t smoke or drink. Never smoked a day in my life and I rarely ever have a drink. I used to be on codeine syrup years ago though but I stopped.

Got plenty of new shit on the way for my ppl! New music new features new videos new merch new everything this summer.
