Wassup yall? Ace back with another one. Today I have my first Alabama artist by the name of Lil Poke.

He is so versatile yall. I can't wait to share him with the world forreal. He has been on my radar for some time now. Ever since the first day he hit me up we been locked in on this music tip. Yall know the drill, Since 420 tomorrow let's get ya smoke and drink on the rocks and let's get to it.

Who are you? Tell us where you're from.

I'm Lil Poke. I'm from Montgomery Alabama. Raised up on the Westside in Smiley Court.

How did you get into the music scene?

When I came back from South Korea in 2020 some just made me book a studio session and I did it. I always made music on my phone though and used to let other people hear it and they would tell me you midaswell try it out.

Is this a career for you yet?

Yes, for sure.

What made you take it seriously?

It felt like it was more natural thing to do. Rather than just trying to find a regular job and plus I love it. And I realized I have a gift.

If it's one thing you could change in this industry, what would it be?

I'll change all the politicking in the music game and just the artist music speaks for itself.

How is the music scene in Alabama? Anything different compared to other places you've been or seen?

The music scene in Alabama I feel like it is the hottest and best it's been since Doe B was alive. It's alot of talent that's bout to come out of Alabama. I just feel like the only difference between other places is we just aint have no big break like a Memphis or a Atlanta but all that just come with time.

Who is your top artist right now?

NBA Youngboy my top artist right now.

Has music changed your life? If so, how?

Music changed my life tremendously. It be feeling like a movie now. Since I been doing music, I move different so that mean I had to cut out certain things and people and the way I think.

What do you do outside of the music scene?

I'm tryna do more things like acting, just being in front of a camera. Start a YouTube yfm.

What would you tell your younger self?

Stop being scary.

What's something people don't know about you?

I was a supply specialist in the Army.

What made you leave the army? Or why did you want to?

I got put out for failing my drug test. Basically, smoking weed. Lol

My first name is Leif.

My daddy, his name Poke and shiiit I look just like 'em so they called me Lil Poke.
