BoNkAz.MOJO & I’m from Richmond, VA
How did you get into the music scene?
I got into the music scene by focusing on turning my dream into a reality.
Would you make this a career?
Absolutely!
What made you take it seriously?
Realization. Being close to death, having a stillborn child & the birth of my daughter.
If it’s one thing you could change in this industry, what would it be?
As cliché as it might sound, I wouldn’t change a thing; good or bad. I believe all designs hold a divine reason, how its perceived only reflects an individual.
How is the music scene in your city? Anything different compared to other places you’ve been or seen?
We lit in VA; so much history here plus there’s a huge amount of undiscovered & limitless talent! As far as difference goes, I don’t think its much different from anywhere else, other than talent & style of course.
Who is your top artist right now?
My top artist right now is without a doubt me, humbly.
Has music changed your life? If so, how?
Music definitely changed my life it helped me selfheal, discover my purpose, and it's an emotionally creative outlet. Music didn’t just change my life, it saved it.
What do you do outside of the music scene?
Outside of music, I love spending time with my family.
What would you tell your younger self?
Nothing, I believe life is all about choice and there’s a reason for everything.

I’ve been stabbed…in the heart; literally.
